Investment Options available to NRIs & PIOs

There are various options available to NRIs & PIOs for investment in India.

You can choose any of the following options to invest in India;

Along with setting up of Companies, we also provide following facilitation services specifically for NRIs & PIOs.


Director Nominee Services

DIN (Director Identification Number) is a prerequisite for appointing a person as Director of an Indian Company. In order to speed up the company Registration Process, BMC provides Director Nominee Services (2/3 Directors) for a period of 6 months. Upon registration of the company, we will assist you to obtain the DIN and accordingly you will be appointed as Directors of the company. Thereafter our representatives will resign from the Directorship. (Acceptance of nominee service is subject to BMC KYC)


Shareholder Nominee Services

The Company Registration Documents has to be executed by the first shareholders of the company and their personal presence may be required. In order to speed up the Company Registration Process, BMC provides Shareholder Nominee Services (2/7 Shareholders) for a period of 6 months. Upon registration of the company, the shares will be transferred to your name subject to compliance of legal provisions. We suggest this service for company registration by Foreign Nationals / Foreign Companies also. (Acceptance of nominee service is subject to BMC KYC norms)


Registered office facilitation Services

The Company has to provide a local postal address as the Registered office address of the Company. BMC provides Registered office facilitation services for 6 months to those promoters who do not have local presence in India at the time of registration of the Company. Upon registration of the company and availability of independent address by the Company, the registered office will be shifted to your convenient address subject to compliance of legal provisions. (Acceptance of such facilitation service is subject to BMC KYC norms)


Formation of Limited Liability Partnership/Corporation (LLP)

Designated Partner Nominee Services

DPIN (Designated Partner Identification Number) is a prerequisite for appointing a person as Designated Partner of an Indian LLP, and one of the Designated Partner has to be an Indian Resident. In order to speed up the LLP Registration Process, BMC provides Designated Partner Nominee Service (2 Partners) for a period of 6 months. Upon registration of the LLP, we will assist you to obtain the DPIN and accordingly you will be appointed as Designated Partner of the LLP. Thereafter our representatives will resign from the LLP. (Acceptance of nominee service is subject to BMC KYC)


Registered office facilitation Services

The LLP has to provide a local postal address as the Registered office address of the LLP. BMC provides Registered office facilitation services for 6 months to those promoters who do not have local presence in India at the time of registration of the LLP. Upon registration of the LLP and availability of independent address by the promoters, the registered office will be shifted to your convenient address subject to compliance of legal provisions. Acquisition & Transfer of Immovable property

NRIs and PIOs can acquire immovable property in India except agricultural land, plantation property or farm house.

However, citizens of Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, China, Iran, Nepal or Bhutan cannot acquire or transfer immovable property in India, (other than on lease, not exceeding five years) without prior permission of the Reserve Bank.
